Dark Crisis (DCR) was the ninth released TCG booster pack. It is comprised of the Japanese sets Power of the Guardians and "Threat of the Demon World. It revolves around Fiend-Type monsters and contains two new types of Monster Cards; "Guardians" and "Archfiends". Guardians require a specific Equip Spell Card face-up in order to summon them. Archfiends require Life Points to use, but they have powerful effects. Highly sought-after cards include "Vampire Lord", "D.D. Warrior Lady", "Butterfly Dagger - Elma", and "Terrorking Archfiend". It contains 2 Secret Rares, 10 Ultra Rares, 10 Super Rares, 17 Rares, and 67 Common cards.
